Lingfield Park All-Weather Picks: 25-1 Tom’s Tips & Rich’s Ranks (Races 3–8)

Lingfield Park’s all-weather card offers a perfect setup for price hunting, and this report combines 25-1 Tom’s Tips with Rich’s Ranks for Races 3–8. These races feature class movers, surface specialists, pace-dependent runners, and several improving profiles on the polytrack. Below, you’ll find both perspectives presented race by race, highlighting where value may emerge in competitive fields at one of Britain’s most form-driven all-weather venues.

RACE 3 – Midnite, Building The Future Of Betting Handicap – 7:40 am ET

Tom’s Picks

3 – Zoulu Chief
He won his last start on his first try over the all-weather. Forwardly placed
and a bit of trouble, then went on and clear by three lengths. He’s run well
at this level before and comes out of a class four race.

1 – Complete Random
Ran fourth last time at Kempton. He ran on late but not enough. Returns
after a break and seems to prefer the all-weather at this point in his racing
career. Add Ryan Moore, which is always positive.

4 – Justcallmepete
He has won his last three races and made a class jump from class five to
class two last time. He’s been on the lead and has come from off the pace.

Rich’s Ranks

3 – Zoulu Chief – smoked around the track last out in first AW try
5 – Intervention – Lingfield success 10/4-3-0
1 – Completely Random – best races on AW – 1st up a little shaky

RACE 4 – BetMGM Winter Oaks Fillies’ Handicap – 8:15 am ET

Tom’s Picks

1 – Moorophore
The Gosden horse is the one to beat. She has done well on the all-weather
and has raced only lightly with seven starts. She came flying at the end to
win at this track last time out. Ryan Moore is here for this horse and should
win again.

2 – Sky Safari
Her last run was at this track in November, and she won despite stumbling
in the race. She’s won three in a row and, except for some bad turf races,
is undefeated on the all-weather.

6 – True Colors
She moved up in class last time out, ran fourth, and showed good early
pace. She was run by my top choice. I think she will hang on here.

Rich’s Ranks

2 – Sky Safari – kind of hard to argue against 5/5 on AW including her last at Lingfield
5 – Lady of Arabia – coming off the best win – looks like this distance works
1 – Morrophore – will be rolling at the end
9 – Aiming High – taking a longie here – AW 4 wins in 19 vs1 in 21 on anything else

RACE 5 – Bet £10 Get £40 With BetMGM Novice Stakes – 8:55 am ET

Tom’s Picks

2 – Jungle Ruler
He has won his two starts and finished fast last time out. Returns to seven
furlongs and will show early pace and draw away again to win.

1 – Pinatubo’s Legacy
He finished very quickly in his first race last time out, winning, but in a dead
heat. I am picking him second for getting caught at the end of his last race.

5 – Bennyworth
Out of the rest of this bunch, I picked this horse because the odds are
interesting and trainer horses are tending to do well lately. Watch the odds.

Rich’s Ranks

3 – Factual – maybe most upside in 2nd up – of the horses with experience, lowest debut odds
2 – Jungle Ruler – unbeaten in two – including one at the distance
4 – All You Can Be – most expensive first timer
1 – Pinatubo’s Legacy – decently bet in debut and by far the most expensive in the race

RACE 6 – Midnite Are Upping The Betting Game Handicap – 9:30 am ET

Tom’s Picks

6 – Southbank
After a short break, he showed speed last time out and was headed to run
fourth. His other wins were in May at Bath on the turf and at Kempton on the
all-weather. This race, I think they are going to take him back in the field
and come with one run.

7 – Haziym
After four races showing very little, if anything, this seven-year-old kicked
on and ran third last time out, missing by a head. The last time he won was
in 2022. Let’s hope that wasn’t a one-hit wonder, and he can get a good run
again at decent odds.

1 – Gogo Yubari
She is not the best out of the gate, and that may have cost her last time
out, when she ran third after winning three in a row. She is an all-weather
specialist with eight wins from thirty-two starts and in the money 43% of the
time. My concern is that she’s adding distance, but she’s won at six
furlongs before.

Rich’s Ranks

3 – Watermelon Sugar – ran considerably faster last out
1 – Gogo Yubari – horse for the course ITM 10/13 with 6 wins
6 – Southbank – room to improve in round 2 off the bench
5 – Pinjarra – ML FAV that probably give more in 2nd up – but with 2 wins in 20 races – fadeable Fav

RACE 7 – Midnite Are Upping The Betting Game Handicap – 10:05 am ET

Tom’s Picks

8 – East Tyrone
Won by a head last time out, first start on the all-weather after failed
attempts on the turf. He came on from the back after a troubled start.
Repeat? Why not race again at this level?

1 – Up The Anti
She made a move to second and backed up to run fourth. She shortened to
six furlongs again, and the failed move last time may serve her in this race.
She will be held towards the back and make one move.

2 – Bluebells Boy
He will be forwardly placed or in the lead in this race. He’s better at running
in the money than winning. The key to this horse is setting a slow early
pace.

Rich’s Ranks

6 – Alashos
2 – Bluebells Boy
3 – Em Jay Kay
4 – Dark Sun

RACE 8 – Midnite A Next Generation Betting App Handicap – 10:40 am ET

Tom’s Picks

1 – Meet Me in Meraki
He’s run fourth twice, going 10 and 12 furlongs. He’s been held toward the
back and gets going late. In the past, when he’s shown speed, they get
better results. Try again to get the desired results.

7 – Bohemian Breeze
He hasn’t run bad races, but he’s coming into this race off a layoff and has
returned with an in-the-money finish in the past. He showed pace in his last
race and had nothing left at the end. He hasn’t won a race since 2023.

3 – Eupator
He’s run in the money going 12 furlongs in two of his recent past. He has
never won in ten tries. I don’t see him winning here, but he can get a run in
the money.

8 – Tommy’s Promise
He comes into this race on a three-race winning streak, all at ten furlongs.
He’s run at various distances with average results. He takes a class rise
and will be off the pace to close with a one furlong to go in the race.

Rich’s Ranks

7 – Bohemian Breeze – wins this with ease at his best, but we haven’t seen it in a while
8 – Tommy’s Promise – there aren’t many races where you might say this is a standout – this is one of them
6 – Riyadh Gem – does have the back class to run away with this one
9 – Muy Muy Loco – decent at Lingfield and on AW
