Rich’s Ranks
Race 1 – 5 Furlongs, 13 races, 9 won by speed, 6 w2w – PP: no winner rail, 2 from 2/3, bonus 4-7, big edge 8+
2 – DRAGON RUN – bullet and go for the first time starter
5 – THE GRAYT PUMPKIN – Eddie C works, but other good works as well
4 – DREAMS DELIVERED – started slow, rushed up and then faded at the end, work between races doesn’t give any hint of a better start
3 – GETTIN’DOWNONIT – some good works getting ready, nice work on April 30th, tr Mark Beecher 2/2 this year
Race 2 – 6 Furlongs, 43 races, 32 won by speed, 17 w2w – PP: strong rail bias, slight discount 2/3, little bonus 4-7, no wins 8+
1 – MAMA G’S WISH – been 1st or 2nd in 9/10 races, lone miss was route 100K non graded, all others sprints like today
4 – DATE NIGHT KISSES – Laurel Park dropper, tied for the TLRSP# and the number should go up at Delaware
6 – JOE MIKE JIM – tough call over #2, but has better early speed at distance/surface that favors speeds, gets a weight break
2 – COCO PUFF
Race 3 – 1 1/16 Miles Turf, 10 races, 50/50, 4 w2w -PP: non from the rail, 1 from 2/3, 4-7 bonus and best, 8+ bonus too
11 – BLOWING BIG SMOKE – TLRSP#, Jaime Rodriguez, Jamie Ness 30% winners together, slightly better fractions at 1m70y on turf than 1 mile on dirt
7 – ONLY CHILD – had to run wide for a lot of his last start, some late improvement in last, gets a weight break and expect jy Maddy Rowland to get max effort here
3 – TWO STEP DANCE – consistent performer, not a lot of upside, not a lot of downside, the last 3 races are probably good enough to hit the board but not win
10 – MERCURY TEN
Race 4 – 1 Mile 70 Yards, 14 races, 10 won by speed, 4 w2w – PP: 1-3 suffer – only 3 winners, the other 7 from 4-7
4 – WAR CROSS – if he’s ready after being in the barn since mid-October, is likely to make easy work of this crew, workouts suggest he’ll be ready and it’s the perfect distance 2/2
2 – SUNNY SAINT – is dropping from straight 12.5 claiming, last race at Tampa before coming up north had EP#s that would smoke this field, expecting a substantial move forward in 2nd start off the break
5 – MINECRAFTER – last 4 races are terrible, dropping to lowest level since winning maiden, best workout in a while on June 8th hints that he could be on a good race here
3 – URBAN WARRIOR – tough call over the 7, but I’ll take 3rd off the break vs 7/1-0-0 on a fast track and 6/0-0-1 at the distance for #7

7 – MIZZEN – going to try turf doe the first time, was better ATB the board on slop in last, can foreshadow success on grass
Race 6 – 1 Mile, 24 races, 15 from off the pace, 2 w2w – PP: just 1 from the rail, 2/3 underperform, 4+ bonus more outside the better
3 – RUSTYS GFIVEFIFTY – TLRSP# and a maintenance work since, a nose from winning 3 of last 4, 2/1-1-0 at the distance

Race 7 – 7 ½ Furlongs Turf, 3 races, 2 won off the pace, 1 w2w – PP1 from 2/3, 1 won from 4-7, 1 from 8+

1 – CASHING BIG CHECKS – much, much better early in her last race, 3 SP# increases in a row
