Rich’s Ranks
Race 1: 1 Mile Turf – Bias: Early Speed, Fair 1-7 with an 8+ Bonus
Going to take a flyer with a first timers
4 – BET THE HOWES – like the Dec 10th work
3 – ALWAYS ROYAL – big improvement in 2nd race and first on turf, TLRSP# – but tr 1/20 second off the claim and 0 for 13 on second grass race
8 – PSYCHEDELIC – is who she is, almost the same speed # in every race
5 – TURF ACCOUNTANT – only MSW dropper, a Z pattern last out, always decently bet
Suggested Wager: $0.50 Trifecta: 3,4,8/3,4/1,3,4,5,8
Race 2: 5 Furlongs AW – Bias: Early Speed with Fair PP
5 – GRAND BEY – lone P horse should get a good trip behind speed with a +8LP
7 – MARLEY LUCK – just missed in last with TLRSP#, likely to regress a little here, but smokes them if he steps forward at all
2 – CLASSY BOY – the lone closer and all the rest want to go fast
3 – NATIONAL UNITY – has the ability to get to the front and maybe stay there
Suggested Wager: $1 Double: 5,7/1,2,3,5,6,7
Race 3: 6 1/2 Furlongs – Bias: Tactical Speed fair PPs 1-7 with 8+ Bonus
IMO – it makes ZERO sense to take a 1-1 ML horse at this level coming off its last effort
1 – MOUSEFAST – Lone E horse, maybe better in career start #2, a 22% angle tr Jose D’Angelo
6 – SEAX – TLRSP# and better ATB in first after a layoff, maybe better in round 2?
7 – DISCREETLY THRIFTY – another 2nd off the break, Z pattern
4 – EASY AS A. B. C. – even money morning line, class dropper but hard to back after finishing last of 8 by 37 lengths
Suggested Wager: $1 Double: 1,2,3,5,6,7/3,5
Race 4: 5 ½ Furlongs AW – Bias: Early Speed fair PPs 1-7 with 8+ Bonus
3 – WILDCAT STAR – been off since March, like the Dec 2nd and Nov 25th works, usually breaks well, works say she is most likely to be pacesetter
5 – SPICY GINGER – TLPRS# at AQ, Drops in class, another that should compete for the lead
1 – MARTHAMAYWHOVIER – another that could start on the front, Dec 4tht and Nov 26th works OK
7 – POMONA’S BULLET – might as well give the first time starter a shot, you don’t know what you got until you know and there really isn’t much to beat after maybe the top 2?
Suggested Wager: $1 Double: 3,5/1,2,4,5,7
Race 5: 1 Mile Turf – Bias: Early Speed, Fair 1-7 with an 8+ Bonus
5 – BORDER TOWN – very consistent performer, last three showed stellar LP and I remember Jose Ortiz doing a lot better last year at GP rallying
4 – PRINCIPLED STAND – if not Jose closing then will take Irad on the lead, everyone is going to have to pass this guy and there isn’t much speed in here
2 – DOMINATE THEMOMENT – lone EP horse, established there isn’t a lot of speed here, should be comfortable right behind the frontrunners at a good price – like the Nov 27th work
7 – JOURNEYMAN – tough call over the left arrow 1, just pops a big effort with excellent LP#s once in a while, whereas the 1 is a steady performer
Suggested Wager: $0.50 Trifecta: 2,4,5/4,5/1,2,4,5,7
Race 6: 1 Mile – Bias: Early Speed, Fair 1-7 with an 8+ Bonus
7 – TRIPLE START – if he can run back to his first two, this will be easy
1 – DEVIL’S CAY – has a +9 EP edge, stretches out and likely to better in career start #2
8 – FIFTY ONE FIFTY – BTV FAV tr Luis Ramirez rebounds at 23%, consistent performer
4 – CHANGEORDERSONNY – maybe the best of the 2 first time starters, Tyler G riding is a hint
Suggested Wager: $0.50 Trifecta: 1,7/1,7,8/1,2,4,7,8
Race 7: 7 Furlongs – Bias: Eary/Tactical Speed with Outside In with 8+ Bonus
2 – DR POST – been off more than a year, would be the winner with ease if he runs to his graded stakes from – works are OK
4 – PACO’S PICO – GP 8/3-3-1 -distance 2/1-1-0 better ATB in last, real nice work since
1 – ENDORSED – TLRSP#, GP 6/1-2-2, three nice works between races
6 – HAMMER LANE – has a +7 EP advantage at 4f, GP 4/1-2-1 and fast 5/2-2-1 why not at 30-1?
Suggested Wager: $1 Exacta Key Box: 6/1,2,4,7,8
Race 8: 5 Furlongs Turf – Bias: Only 4 races, Early Speed, 2/3 and 8+ Best so far
10 – FULL DISCLOSURE – Lone EP horse with the top LP, better times early and maintenance work in last
2 – KING CAB – could be the pacesetter, maybe better in round 2 off the bench, and bullet work since
6 – ROMAN POET – got the maiden score in debut at Gulfstream on grass, closer with plenty of speed to chace
9 – ENBARR – if she can run back to two-year old form, could be close of lead, two good works since last
7 – NOT PHAR NOW
Suggested Wager: $1 Trifecta: 2,6,10/2,10/2,6,7,9,10
Race 9: 5 Furlongs AW – Bias: Early Speed with Fair PP
8 – BERNARDO’S LEGACY – 3rd off the break and only true MSW dropper
2 – MR. AMERICAN – increased SP# in every race post debut, ended in TLRSP#, better times at 5 1/2f v 5
1 – COSMIC SPECULATION – should be involved from got to photo, 15f works since last effort
7 – BLUE MAVERICK – the best of the 1st time starters
Suggested Wager: $0.50 Trifecta: 2,8/1,2,8/1,2,6,7,8
