Race 1 – 5 ½ Furlongs, 32 races, 24 won by speed, 10 w2w – PP: 1-3 fair, small bonus 4-7, no winners 8+

3 – WEDONTBELIEVEHER – Monmouth 6/3-2-0, distance 8/4-2-1, drops off a win, tr Juan Avila won 2/3, much better 2/4f pace #s in last

1 – BAHAMIAN MOON – ran some quicker fractions in her last race, usually rebounds after regressing like she did last out

6 – CAPTURINI – has some of the most late kick for this crew, 2^nd off the claim is 20% winner for trainer Jerry Hollendorfer

Race 2 – 6 Furlongs, 111 races, 83 won by speed, 33 w2w – PP: small rail penalty, 2-7 fair with outside in bias, 8+ a little below par

2 – R FUNNY BIZNESS – left arrow horse that should be co-pilot and has most LP

1 – SAVE THE FLAG – tied for the TLRSP# and takes a slight dip in class, did run a little faster in her last

6 – KIRTAN – could be the pacesetter, ran much better times in her last effort and her resume says it is possible for her to improve in 2^nd off the bench

4 – SHE’S PEACHY KEEN – ships in from Tampa, recollection is Tampa-to-Monmouth works, real fast workouts hint she like the NJ surface

 

Race 3 – 6 Furlongs, 111 races, 83 won by speed, 33 w2w – PP: small rail penalty, 2-7 fair with outside in bias, 8+ a little below par

7 – MARVIN – LS – won his last with by a lot with a peak number, the last time he popped a bi number, followed it up with a better race, TLRSP#, first off the claim for tr Bruno Tessore, 28% winner

2 – SNEAKINESS – ships in from Parx, but 5/2-2-1 at Monmouth, distance 16/4-4-5, but tr Stephen Hamilton 0-19 first time with a new horse

3 – FRAN’S WORRIER – has the best combo of EP and LP #2, winner 10/22 at the distance, Denzel at Monmouth 9/0-3-3

1 – HUSHION – just missed in his last with far faster fractions at the ½ and 6f

 

Race 4 – 5 Furlongs Turf, 18 races, 15 won by speed, 12 w2w -PP: inside out bias, rail better than 2/3, 4-7 fair, 8+ penalty

1 – ODRAMARK – speed horse (that can also win from the back), on the rail, good track bias fit, tr Jose Delgado winner 26% off the claim and 32% claim repeater

4 – GRAN MALBEC – gets a weight break, 1^st Gelded at 7, was better ATB in last, likely to show in R2 off the bench

6 – FIRST NAVY ADMIRAL – could be the frontrunner, won last w2w by 5 lengths with faster times at 5 and final 5 ½ f by a second and 1.2 seconds, respectively

7 – MINNESOTA LUCKY – could be better in classic 3^rd race off the sidelines, but Monmouth 2/0-0-0 and really not close in either, we’ll see if going sprint, route back to a sprint unlocks the winners’ circle

 

Race 5 – 5 ½ Furlongs, 32 races, 24 won by speed, 10 w2w – PP: 1-3 fair, small bonus 4-7, no winners 8+

5 – SHANGHAI WARRIOR – is coming off a claiming win, tr Derek Ryan winner 9/20 staying in claiming ranks

7 – HOBOKEN JACK – ships in from AQ, dropping multiple classes for tr Danny Gargan, winner 4/10, decent works getting ready to return

3 – I MAKE THE RULES – should challenge for the lead early and appears to have the most staying power of the early speed types

2 – MR. EXTENSION – tied or the TLRSP# was better in 2^nd half of the race

 

Race 6 – 5 Furlongs Turf, 18 races, 15 won by speed, 12 w2w -PP: inside out bias, rail better than 2/3, 4-7 fair, 8+ penalty

9 – PARDSY – top choice if he gets in, Jamie Ness and Rueben Silvera, best combo of EP and LP

7 – THE PREDICAMENT – missed as the favorite in last, tr Andrew Simoff rebounds at 35%, switches to a higher win rate jockey in Daniel Centeno, maybe better round two off the bench

2 – STANHOPE -has a + EP edge, track dropper from NYRA and gets a weight break

5 – BEACH WARRIOR – better fractions last out and stronger late

 

Race 7 – 6 Furlongs, 111 races, 83 won by speed, 33 w2w – PP: small rail penalty, 2-7 fair with outside in bias, 8+ a little below par

1 – PIANZI – won 3 of 7 at Monmouth, Ness/Silvera again, better in the second half of last race

5 – DR. DOYLE – 1^st off the claim for tr Claudio Gonzalez, 27% winning angle vs 22% overall

6 – COUNTERFEITCURENCY – won his last big with 4^th SP# increase in a row, 2 seconds faster for Monmouth 6f

4 – POGI – left arrow horse, can win from the front and back, EP#s put him close to the lead, ITM 11/13 at Monmouth and 9/10 at distance

 

Race 8 – 1 1/16 Miles Turf, 59 races, 34 won by speed, 14 w2w – PP: inside 3 bias, 4+ penalty, inside better than outside

4 – LA COSTA – toss out last, clipped heels, DQd… EZ winner in race before that in first at Mon/Distance/Surface, drops in class, concerns a little of last race trouble

7 – NO VALLA – top LP horse in the field, big drop, TLRSP#, really not that far from winning 5 in a row

3 – A RING THING – better 4/6f fractions last out despite going a little longer, 6/0-3-1 at distance

2 – NATOMA – scratched into this spot
