Rich’s Ranks

Race 1 – 6 Furlongs, 189 races, 129 won by speed, 66 w2w – PP: rail underperforms, rest close to fair

1 – GOLDEN SPOKE – as much as I don’t like the rail at the distance, has a ++ edge in EP and is a Left Arrow horse

4 – LONGTAIL – this one was horrible in his last two coming off the bench, a couple of bullet workouts says that’s  about to change, gets a weight break and could be the leader if the 1 falters

5 – INDIRECTLY – not much difference between the this and the 6 – we’ll take the one that improved in the first half mile last out and with a little better record at the distance

6 – SPECTACULAR KID – has the top LP#s in the field, regressed a little in last Parx 20/1-6-1 ITM? Maybe, win? Most likely not.

Race 2 – 1 Mile 70 Yards, 190 races, 137 won by speed, 48 w2w – PP: inside 3 bias, 4-7, slight penalty, 8+ fair

7 – PERUVIAN BOY – BB – his 4/6f pace edges puts him about 3-4 lengths ahead of the rest, could make EZ work of this field

4 – FRENCH TOAST – ran a peak number last out, he’s followed the last 3 peak numbers with some regression, twice a small step back and fell off the cliff in the other

5 – RONIN WARRIOR – is dropping in class after putting in a better effort in the first half mile last out, maybe sitting on a good race today

6 – MASTER OF WAR – won his last at Delaware with better internals for the first 4f

Race 3 – 1 Mile, 78 races, 55 won by speed, 22 w2w – PP: slight rail penalty, fair 2-7, major downgrade 8+

5 – BOSSMAN JONES – should be the pacesetter, top LP too, better fractions at 1 1/16 m v 1m 70y, bullet work on July 20th, Pennington and Servis hit at 32% together

4 – THE HONORABLE ONE – TLRSP# and his mid race numbers suggest he’ll be near the front with a ¼ mile to go

2 – ELOQUIST – last ran in the Holy Bull stakes in Feb, has a win in two goes at Parx, tied for the best PARX # with the 5, some good works getting ready

3 – OILER – track dropper from CD, OP and KEE, lone work at Parx was good, not the biggest fan on MCL risers after 8 races

Race 4 – 1 Mile 70 Yards, 190 races, 137 won by speed, 48 w2w – PP: inside 3 bias, 4-7, slight penalty, 8+ fair

7 – LA LA LUCY – LS – if she can run the same race as her last, it would make her and easy winner, incredible LP pop in her last effort, walking up the speed number ladder 4 in a row

2 – TOURING MARYANNE – left arrow horse, closer whose pace numbers put her in contention to be pilot/co-pilot, going long for the 1st time should accentuate EP

3 – MISQUILLO – she’s going to try and rally from way back, probably falls short of the W, but bulks up exotics

5 – A BIT BAD N BOUJEE – 3 seconds in a row at the track/distance/surface

Race 5 – 6 Furlongs, 189 races, 129 won by speed, 66 w2w – PP: rail underperforms, rest close to fair

3 – CAPTAIN CHAZZ – between the 3 & 6, one is likely to come away the leader and have the best shot at going w2w – 3 has the better PARX#s, but the last race at Penn, eewww, step down in class gets back on track

6 – PRINCE FILIP – finished behind the 3 twice, has a lot of early juice, maybe some rest and a bullet work and weight break finally get him by the 3

2 – TALENTED MAN – is dropping to the lowest level of his career, at times show some early pop and has the some of the best LP when he fires

4 – UNCLE GARY G – that’s my uncle’s name, so why not? Similar fractions at 7f in last outing compared to 5 ½f in previous race

Race 6 – 1 Mile 70 Yards, 190 races, 137 won by speed, 48 w2w – PP: inside 3 bias, 4-7, slight penalty, 8+ fair

2 – BUMPERDOO – has a crazy LP advantage in the last couple of races, he should not be too far off the lead because there are superfast frontrunners in this group

6 – HARD STING – PARX 10/2-4-4, distance 12/2-4-5, drops in class has a good work between races

1 – MALIBU STAR – if the 2 doesn’t run them all down, he has a strong late run too, TLRSP# and gets a weight break

3 – MY FRIENDS BEER – tough call between 3/5/7 – a bullet work his 4/6 pace # put him on the lead

5 – KINGSVILLE

7 – SUPER DUDE

Race 7 – 1 Mile, 78 races, 55 won by speed, 22 w2w – PP: slight rail penalty, fair 2-7, major downgrade 8+

6 – ANGELOFTHEGALAXY – could get an EZ lead with all the scratches with top EP#s

11 – CASH ON FIRST – TLRSP# with 3 increases in a row, strong late run, could be better in 2nd off the bench

13 – SPRINKLE THIS – has better 2/4f pace#s at MCL 30, but has tried this level before

10 – DREAM TRACER – just missed last out in 1st race at PARX, might improve in 2nd off the bench

Race 8 – 6 Furlongs, 189 races, 129 won by speed, 66 w2w – PP: rail underperforms, rest close to fair

7 – SHANGHAI SUPERFLY – drops in class, better first ½ mile if last effort, could step in up in 2nd off the break, Pennington/Ness hitting at 31%, PARX 17/5-3-5, just 1 win in 12 elsewhere

5 – FIVE DREAMS – should get a race shape this first his winning PARX effort two back, 2 good to strong works since last race

3 – ENRAGED – 1st off the claim after running some of his fastest fractions in the last 10 races

2 – HIGH VELOCITY – is the likely pacesetter and gets a weight break today and drops in call back to a level where he went w2w – two races back

Race 9 – 1 1/8 Miles, 6 races, 4 won off the pace, 2 w2w – PP: 0 rail, all else mostly fair, 2/3 slight discount

2 – EXIT RIGHT – 2 and 7 could run all the way around the track 1-2, but the 2 has a plus LP edge vs the entire field

7 – DOUBLE THE HEART – could hold the early lead, by a little, tempo will be everything,

4 – ACOHARE – went w2w last out with much better pace #s ATB, and better fractions from the 2nd call to finish line

1 – HIDDEN PROMISE – not a fan of the rail here, but should improve in 2nd try at Parx after coming in from KEE and OP, 3rd off the bench and was better early in his last

Race 10 – 6 Furlongs, 189 races, 129 won by speed, 66 w2w – PP: rail underperforms, rest close to fair

7 – CHARGE THROUGH – should challenge for the lead and has the top LP in the field with a noticeable, jut not a + edge

4 – HIT A HOMER HONEY – won her last with much better effort at the end, loves the distance 5/3-0-1

8 – CLASSY SADIE – tied for the TPLRSP# and been close at Parx since coming from NYRA 4/0-3-1

6 – FRIEDER FANATIC – clearly better later in his last race, Silvera and Linder Jr, clicking at 27% together
