1 – PORK CHOP – 1st off the claim 32/100 for trainer Jose D’Angelo, not a giant fan of the step up

4 – BLANK’S HAT TRICK – like that internals were constant from start to finish in debut, expect improvement here

3 – SHANGHAI WARRIOR – has the top EP#S by a long shot, Tampa to Gulfstream discount

7 – MAJOR KING – 1st time starter, trainer Victor Barboza, Jr. 0.37 ROI 1st timer, Debut MCL $1.28 ROI

 

Race 2 – 4 ½ Furlongs – didn’t run any

2 – ST. JOE JET – has the only daddy that was a sprinter

5 – CAJUN HOPE – bullet work on April 1, decent work on March 26 – tr Michael Yates top 1st time starter #s and all positive ROIs

7 – KEANU – tr Carlos Davis top win rate at MSW in this field

1 – BEAUTIFUL ASTRAY – on the rail with quick turn could be advantageous

 

Race 3 – 1 Mile Turf – 121 Races, 73 won by speed, 35 w2w – PP: fair 1-7, 8+ penalty but not a deal killer

6 – SMART SPENDING – could be the pacesetter and has the top LP#s, BTN FAV tr Victor Barboza, Jr 26% rebounds

1 – SWEET PEARL – TLRSP#, 3 SP# increases, top EP#s, top EP#s and could be better in 3rd off the bench

2 – ISADORABLE AIDA – improved ATB in last, bullet work since looks primed

4 – BIG BAD DIVA – could win this, coming off the bench, more often than not sharp in fresh starts

 

Race 4 – 1 Mile – 89 Races, 67 won by speed, 30 w2w -PP: slight rail bias, big 8+ bonus, 2-7 not much off the rail

4 – INNER WAVE – showed significant LP improvement in his last and could be lone speed

3 – GHOST FIGHTER – small drop, better 4f fractions, better in the first ½ mile of his last effort, by far top pedigree scores for distance/surface

1 – KHOPILOT – biggest dropper in the field, gets a rail edge, tr Robert Hess, Jr hitting at 30% down 2 classes vs 14% overall

6 – I WAS BORN READY – hard call to make over the 8, but the 8 has many chances not a lot to beat here and 15k is 2nd most expensive in the field and has 2nd best pedigree #s – average works against big numbers

 

Race 5 – 5 Furlongs AW – 82 Races, 57 won by speed, 30 w2w – PP: Same 1-7, 8+ small penalty 

3 – DRINKS ON ME – TLRSP#, AW 9/5-0-1, all other surfaces, 5 wins in 37, strong LP improvement in last

2 – ALIZEE – switch to Luis Saez, 1st off the claim Martin Drexler 25% vs 17% overall

5 – VEIL – 1st off the claim tr: Jose D’Angelo 32/100, Top EP/LP Combo

4 – MS BIG SPRING – has the most EP and a bullet work on March 30th, should be pacesetter

 

Race 6 – 5 Furlongs Turf – 70 Races, 41 won by speed, 24 w2w -PP: fair

5 – HIGH FRONT – won his debut with ease with TLRSP#, 34f works since, jy/tr combo of Luis Saez and Jonathan Thomas 6/10 winners – 100% ITM

1 – ZANNO – 1st off the claim, could be better in the 2nd off the bench, has TOP EP and a nice work since

6 – DISCREET TUNE – ITM 8/11 at GP, 9/12 at the Distance, Drop from 100K nongraded stakes

3 – ICE CHOCOLAT – comes in from Brazil, winner of 3 in a row, including a group 3, 1st time LASIX

 

Race 7 – 1 Mile 70 Yards – 122 Races, 66 stalkers/closers, 11 w2w -PP: Slight Rail Edge, fair ATB

4 – UNO TIGER – is a neck away from being undefeated in two at the distance/surface, top LP#s and shouldn’t be too far from the front

2 – MARISA’S MISSION – minor improvement in last, flipping from Turf to AW, 29% winner for trainer Martin Drexler vs overall 17%

3 – EXCHANGE DAY – ran some better fractions in hos last and should be close to the front all the way around the track – fractions will the key

6 – HOPE IN HIM – a lot of 1sts here, 1st AW, 1st Route, a couple of decent works since last, could be a live shot

 

Race 8 – 1 Mile Turf – 121 Races, 73 won by speed, 35 w2w – PP: fair 1-7, 8+ penalty but not a deal killer 

6 – RING RUN – only MSW dropper from 60K, 2 decent works since, was decently bet and has top EP&LP#s

4 – UNCAPTURED GRACE – can win from the front, middle or back, expect to be forwardly places and rally late

2 – PRETTYKEEN – tie TLRSP#, just missed in her last despite clicking heels after the start, no trouble could be good result

5 – WARWOMAN – tied TLRSP#, bullet work on March 26th, should be better in 2nd career start
