22 to 1 Tom’s International Tips
Race 2 – Magic Million Country Cup
3 – Star of O’Reilly
- 32 starts 9 wins 5 seconds 2 thirds
 - Soft going 6 starts 4 wins 1 second
 - Fast pace run last out with running 10th and move late to get 3rd
 - Some traffic issues for him and need room late
 - This season, he’s been in the money (1 win) in his 4 races
 - Gets some weight off from last race and steps up in company today

2 – Sir Rocket
- 11 starts 5 wins 3 seconds 1 third
 - Likes the soft going with 4 starts 3 wins and 1 fourth
 - Chased front runner late with one run but too late
 - Race before, he was close to the pace, jockey had work to turn for home because he ducked in and then got straight late to win – favorite in that race

1 – Only Wanna Sing
- 45 starts 13 wins 7 seconds 5 thirds
 - Last race, he had too much to do to get into position for the win, creditable effort
 - He’s 2 races before were wins at 1200m and 1400m vs open company
 - Gets a break from the handicapper with 5 kilos being taken off but still top weight in this field
 - Better trip better run, should be interesting

Race 5 – Magic Million Rising Stars 3&4yo F&M Cl4
2 – Lady of Luxury
- 18 starts 4 wins 6 seconds 3 thirds
 - Winner last out move late and appeared to have something left with the win
 - Traffic issues with 4 horse in front of her, got room at 200m
 - Been ok on soft going with 10 starts 2 wins 3 seconds
 - Last 2 runs at top track and moves here with good chance to win

5 – Empowerment
- 12 starts 3 wins 1 second 2 thirds
 - Appear to have needed a start with a 6th last out
 - She has won 1 time from 2nd race off layoff out of 2 races
 - Good record on soft going
 - This maybe the right race at the right time to pop through here

4 – Lady Banff
- 18 starts 3 wins 2 seconds 1 third
 - Last race, the start was not great, but she ran better that the start suggests
 - It’s been a while since she won but in the last race she showed signs of life.
 - Soft going maybe an issue but did win 1 race on heavy ground
 - She run in bigger races in the past without a lot of success but…I am just looking for her to make a good showing here

Race 6 – Magic Million Rising Stars 3&4yoCl4
11 – Logomania
- 3 starts 1 win and 1 third
 - Only a maiden winner but sweep to the stand side and won nicely in his last race
 - First out, they put his in a group 3 race, aggressive but finished last
 - Better in maiden race to start the season and now a win last out
 - Many unknowns here like distance and soft going but what take a rising star (possible) here at a price

5 – Palladas
- 15 starts 2 wins 2 seconds 3 thirds
 - First start of the season was a useful race (running 5th) against 15 runners
 - Move late from midpack to get up for 4th
 - Improving for last, it appears he needed a race
 - If he runs to last race, he’s got a chance

12 – Golden Eighty
- 11 starts 1 win 3 seconds
 - After layoff on 4 months, he’s run 3 races and good in 2 and needed the first start which was an even effort, he lost that race to one of my picks in another race
 - Just got up for second in last
 - Win? But hit the board, I think so

Race 7 -The Wave 3&4yo Weight For Age
9 – Starelle
- 16 starts 1 win 3 seconds 4 thirds
 - Drops in class, been racing in groups races and top end races
 - In those races, she’s lost by 1.5L, .6L, 1.2L, 4.3L, 1.3L, 1.9L
 - Mixed results on soft to heavy going
 - She won a group 2 race last season
 - She was back of the field until the 800m mark then finished strong, she was fly on the outside at the end
 - She’s run only once at this distance and finished third

14 – Telephone Booth
- 5 starts 2 wins 1 second 1 third
 - Races have been from 1100m to 1600m
 - Never been the distance but shows promise of wanting longer
 - One run on soft going, ran third
 - The pace was slow in last race, travel well, ask for speed from the gate, up with the winner early but had little to finish. Lost by 7L to a winner who is undefeated
 - Lightest weight assignment in the field, time to prove herself vs better

5 – Tamilaide
- 9 starts 3 wins 4 second 2 thirds
 - No complaints about his record, the question I have is distance, first time at 1800m
 - Likes the soft and heavy going – 6 starts 3 wins 2 second 1 third
 - Move well in this last 2 this season running 2nd and 3rd
 - Generally hangs in the back of the field and makes one run
 - Jump up in class but maybe more distance is what this horse is wanting

Race 8 – We Are Open Gold Coast Quality Handicap
10 – Remlaps Gem
- 15 starts 6 wins 3 seconds 2 thirds
 - Winner of his first run of the season at 900m then stepped up to run third at Randwick
 - 3 for 3 at distance
 - 3 wins on the soft going
 - Handicapper gave him a weight advantage vs last to race

2 – Usmanov
- 27 starts 9 wins 4 seconds 2 thirds
 - Not much in first start of the season, another one who needed a race?
 - A runner in better races from open to group 3 races
 - At distance, 6 starts 4 wins 2 seconds
 - Certainly, fits in this race, he done well at Gold Coast 7 starts 4 wins 2 seconds

5 – King Klaus
- 19 starts 10 wins 5 seconds 1 thirds
 - First up after layoff 4 starts 3 wins 1 second
 - Distance 2 starts 1 win 1 second
 - Done well on both soft and heavy tracks
 - To me, this is the horse to beat
