After layoff, 3 starts 2 wins 1 second
3 for 3 on the soft going
Off for 9 months and coming back with the lightest weight in the field
Group 2 places and this is only distance this horse has run with winning efforts
Last race at Gold Coast, he tossed the rider and came back with injuries
Came back with a win and second the break again
Bolted in last race at Gold Coast in the Guineas, if they got her sorted out, she should win
Ran second in barrier trial in prepping for this race
4 – Totally Charmed
22 starts 8 wins 5 seconds 4 thirds
2 starts this season, 1 win and 1 second
Soft going record is 5 starts 3 wins 1 third
Steps up in company but definitely in form for this 7-year-old
Evenly run race in last but weaved through traffic, found an opening, and won by 1/2 L and all by a hand ride
If he can repeat that effort, he’s going to place in this race
9- Tycoonist
20 starts 4 wins 5 seconds 4 thirds
13 starts on off going with only 1 win but 6 placings
Lost last race by a head bob, having to move inside the winner, the 2 ran together for the 200m
First start at the track but runs 3 nice races this season at Rosehill and Randwick
Chance for a piece here

2 – Apache Chase
19 starts 8 wins 1 second 2 thirds
Few races on the soft going
Last race, he tracked the leaders and then was boxed in but still did enough to get 3rd
Raced at Rosehill in the richest sprint in the world running 4th
Won 2 races before that race and also won after that race
He’s worst race was at the end of the season with a 13th finish but only 4L back
Better trip, better results
4 – Eleven Eleven

4 wins on soft running
Course runs 3 starts 2 wins and distance 5 starts 2 wins
Toss last, taken back from wide barrier draw and showed little but race before was a nice win but the level of the race is questionable, but it was a big money race
Last season, he won at Gold Coast in MM race
Capable of putting in a good run here
11 – Oscar Zulu
16 starts 6 wins 1 second 2 thirds
Won a few on soft and heavy going
Winner at first asking this season after being off for 3 months plus
Rail trip about 5L behind the lead at 600m to go and won by 1/2 L to a group winner
2 wins from 8 starts at this distance
If he gets the trip again, he’s dangerous at a price

4 – Mishani Spartan
2 for 2 wins at big odds – 51-1 and 20-1
Awful barrier trials which account for the long odds
Won last on soft going
Will be moving late so if they go too fast up front, he will be flying at the end
It’s interesting to see that his first race was 1200m and then dropped back 1100m
9 – Coolangatta
2 for 2 – favorite in both races and will be the favorite again
Won both of his barrier trials
Will be placed forwardly in the running
Won at 1200m last out
What else to say about this horse, he’s done what’s been asked of him to date
11 – Russian Conquest
2 for 2 but average runs in the barrier trials
A 5-1 favorite last out and was held a little back to make one run
Won on the soft going
Adds distance today after running 900m and 1100m
An in the money play for me

14 – Indiscreetly
3 for 3 keeps winning by wider margins
Winner at 1300m 1400m 1600m
Back to 1400m
Steps up in class but I really like it’s wins and won last on soft going

2 – Jamaea
8 starts 3 wins 2 seconds
A group 2 winner but coming back from layoff
3 barrier trials on soft going with ok results
Second try at distance and ran a stinker last time out, end of the season race
If she runs to her group 2 form, she will be tough in here

5 – Far Too Easy
6 starts 4 wins 1 second
3 for 3 on the soft going
Since layoff, 2 wins and 1 second
The second last out was with issues on the break, ran between horses to just get up. Winner was on the outside with clear running
First time at this distance but is in form with barrier 7 the starting point
May win?

8 – Dr Why Not
18 starts 6 wins 4 seconds 1 third
4 starts on soft going 2 wins and 2 seconds
Won last by 2L with a favorable rail trip, got first run with the late flier coming but too late
1 try at the distance with a finishing 2nd
He also has a win at the track from 3 tries
He’s first 3 races at Eagle Farm were not good, change of track did the trick
Good spot to repeat with a good trip
4 – Miami Fleiss
8 starts 5 wins 1 second
Toss last, use hard in the early stage of the race to get up to the lead and faded back
Good efforts on soft track and appears to prefer this going
Won first start of the season at short odds and has generally gone off at short odds
At this track, 1 win from 2 starts
She’s 1 for 1 at this distance
Soft going, right distance, winning effort possible
13 – Lady Banff
19 starts 3 wins 3 seconds 1 third
Ran second last weekend in MM rising stars race just beaten
First starts, not great but she had some running adventures in those races
If she handles the quick turnaround, she showed last out she game enough to get in the top 3 positions
