Started the season in Germany run 6th in his first start, group 3 at Krefeld and then a much 2nd in next start in group 2 race at Cologne
Shipped over to Royal Ascot and ran 5th in group 3, out run early in the race, start moving and finish well, need the start?
Switch jockey to Tom Marquand and may surprise here

4 starts 2 wins 1 second and one forgettable race
Last out in class 2 handicap, he ran 2nd at Sandown with dwelt start, moved up but never doing enough to catch the leader
Tried group 1 company and that wasn’t a good experience
Won first 2 starts at maiden and listed levels
Going is an issue for this horse based on the Sandown run
Better spot to get a group win

He’s Royal Ascot run was poor, just ran on the track and didn’t show much
He’s last 4 races have been in group 1 company with 2 3rd at the end of last season
Group 2 winner at Doncaster in 4 horse race
Horse is in serious need of class drop and gets it here to try and restore some old form because he hasn’t shown much yet

Ran a better race last out at the Curragh running 3rd but didn’t finish
But much better than his first 2 starts running 5th in group 1 and 6th in group 2
At 7, his races have always been spaced out and interesting he run well in Dubai in recent years
Why pick? I think he’s coming to form and this 4th start will be a winning one

Not much at Royal Ascot in a top notch field running way behind Australia trained Nature Strip who blew them away
But his first start was a excellent effort in group 3 at ParisLongchamp winning by 2 1/2L at 18-1
This Czech horse really had something in his first start of the year
Frankie Dettori returns to the saddle and won before on this horse

Won last 2 by a neck and 3/4L over Dragon Symbol
3 wins this season and 1 second and first start was a, first start need the race

Faced Yibir last out and ran 3rd in group 2 race at Newmarket, sweating in the paddock and didn’t have it all together early but still ran ok vs a very tough rival
He won in February in Dubai going 12F by 1/2L in handicap
No runs at Goodwood but handles Newmarket very well so I am thinking he will be ok here

Ran 2nd to favorite in this race last out by 3 3/4L in listed race, he weakens at the end but this was a shorter distance than his first race
Ran 4th at York going longer distance by 3L
Frankie Dettori has ridden this horse before for a run for 2nd
Good chance at better price than so on the others Godolphin runners in this race
2 – Desert Encounter – Draw 1

Last race was first start of the year and he ran like it was a first start losing by 12 1/2L in listed race but he hadn’t run in 259 days
He hasn’t won in a long time but placed 4 times out of 8 races
Looking for odds and better efforts here
