First start in Hong Kong was a nice run, running 3rd at this level, ran 5th for early part of the then asked to go, he turns in an even effort, should improve
Raced in Australia prior with good success at the open and class 2 level
Only one attempt at group level without success
7 – Tempest Express

Toss last, average race if you like running at the back of the field and showed enough to pass tiring horses, this was at this level
Winner in class 3 and placed 3rd in in class 2 prior races 2 races
Win? No, but placing here makes sense

Undefeated and won group 3 last out at 5F
Steps up and will not have Joao Moreira services, he picked Courier Wonder
Matthew Chadwick picks up the mount
It’s lot ask of the lightly races horse but he’s going to really show his stuff here and defend that undefeated record

Last out, in that messy group 1 with horses breaking down, inquired jockeys, etc. He was bumped at the start and kept on for a ok finish, raced back and move up
Since that race, 2 barrier races with good efforts, 1:09.89 and 1:11.52 last time
He has only one group 1 win but placed 3 times from 8 tries at that level
He won this race last year
3 – Courier Wonder

All wins are at the 1200m distance
Ran forward in last in that messy race, lost reins and was checked late
He’s never won at this level but placed last out
Group 3 winner
Also has 2 barrier races with good works, the latest was a little slower

Won C3 races last month racing forward most of the race.
Barrier trial run at 1200m was useful to prepare for this race
Consistence racehorse and this appears to be his level to run at

Failed favorite last out being forwarding placed in the race then backed out to run 11th.
Winner 3 back a C3 level at same distance
Needed break and coming back with 2 barrier trials, winning both
Win here? Not sure but good chance to run in the money

3 starts at distance, no wins 1 placing
First start in Hong Kong was a failure, 11 of 11. Need race at this level
Racing in Australia at lower-level tracks with success and won last before imported to Hong Kong
He’s barrier trial before the race were nothing special either, let’s take a flier here on placing in the race, otherwise, he made dropped in class level/rating in next race

Won at distance and on 16 race winning streak
Top miler for last 2 years in Hong Kong
Interesting that he ran 3rd in his barrier trial before this race
Really not much else to say unless the barrier trial means something.
3 – Waikuku

2 wins from 12 starts at distance and 4 placings
Nothing in his 2-barrier trial race as prep for this race
Zac Purton returns to the saddle and rode him before and the most recent barrier trial
Group 1 winner last year and group 2 winner in past
This is not as tough as field as the last race except he’s facing Golden Sixty again

Raced in group 3 last out and won being forwardly placed in the past
Group 3 appears to be his level but maybe good enough to get a share her

Import from Australia and ran a stinker first out then
Won 2 races at C3 level at today’s distance
Raced with success in Australia but at the mid-level
Both of he’s wins are from off the pace

Last race at distance, a good 2nd after making one run, lost to one of the returning horses in this race
If runs back to last race, he will place here
