#6 – SMOOTH LIKE STRAIT – He is one of the best turf milers who has finished 1st, 2nd or 3rd in ten races out of the last twelve races, winning four of the races. If he loses it is usually only by a head, neck or ½ a length so you know he just does not give up. His last race was the BCMile-G1 where he ran an excellent 2nd and he has been steadily working out for today’s race.
#5 – IVAR – He can either run on top, come from mid-pack or close from deep to win a race. His last race was the BCMile-G1 where he ran just behind Smooth Like Strait. Smokin Joe Talamo is in the irons and knows this horse well as he has ridden him in the last seven races.
#1 – COUNT AGAIN – He ships in from So Cal after winning two races in a row and is now going for a hat trick at Keenland where he has won the only race he has ran there.
