We’re back at Parx Racing with nine races Tuesday, and after a solid Money Monday, there’s one question we want answered early: does speed still have the edge?

Monday treated us pretty well, with Pick 4s, exactas and win bets coming home, and for the most part, horses with early speed had the advantage. If that bias carries over, identifying today’s likely frontrunners before the betting public adjusts could be one of the biggest keys to the card.

Rich and Terry will put the Smart Sheets to work looking at % Chance to Lead, C-Zone, Early Pace, Total Pace, SIM Speed and SIM Odds to find the horses best positioned to take advantage.

But yesterday’s bias doesn’t automatically become today’s bias. We’ll watch the early races, see how the surface is playing and adjust accordingly.
