8 – RB Rich Lyke Me
7 – Rajeh
Race 3
7 – Mostahdaf – Draw 4
Toss last, not even close in the ARC. He won group 3 races and had a good overall record of 12 starts, 7 wins 2 seconds. If ready will be strong here. Goshen’s trained.
3 – Dubai Future – Draw 2
Favorite? He Won in Bahrain and was second at Meydan in, last race, he moved at the end of the race to run 5th and should go better today.
9 – Sir Busker – Draw 8
Consistent in last three races with one win in July. Ran 2nd last out on the all-weather as a prep for this race. Ryan Moore is up.
Magical Computer Picks:
3 – Dubai Future
11 – White Moonlight
9 – Sir Busker
Race 4
3 – Garrus – Draw 4
If Garrus shows up, he won off layoff before and ran a stinker last time in October. You never know what you will get with this horse. Tough race.
5 – Lusail – Draw 5
The last race wasn’t bad, but it could have been better overall. He is capable of finishing in the money but winning? Not sure.
11 – Songline – Draw 2
The pattern is to win or run an awful race. He won this race last year and should be the favorite. A Group 1 winner in Japan will be ready and the one to beat.
Predicator Computer Picks:
11 – Songline
2 – Casa Creed
6 – Pogo
Race 5
12 – Master Gatsby – Draw 10
The longer the race, the better he runs. Last out at 10 furlongs ran 9th this January at this track. He has won at 15 furlongs, 13 furlongs, and all-weather going 12 furlongs. Group 3 winner in France. Why not!
2 – Trawlerman – Draw 9
Ran into Trueshan at Ascot in the last race after winning two handicap races. A good record of 10 starts, four wins, three thirds. In the money run here. Dettori and Gosden with Godolphin owned. Steps up here.
7 – Silver Sonic – Draw 1
Runs long races in Japan. He won last out at 18 furlongs after pulling up in a race before. 10 starts, 3 wins, 1 second, 3 thirds at group level races.
Super Computer Picks:
6 – Get Shirty
11 – Echt
3 – Enemy
Race 6
12 – Havnameltdown – Draw 6
Won last race in a small field at Santa Anita in grade 2. He looked good but ran against stable mates. Lost to Cave Rock in grade 1 at Del Mar. 5 starts 4 wins 1 second, and you get Dettori and Baffert. The one to beat.
9 – Derma Sotogake – Draw 3
Won in December at Kawasaki, last out in dirt listed race. The first start was a first start, ok. He is by Mind Your Biscuits (first crop). Last very good.
8 – Continuar – Draw 10
He has never raced so why here? Watch out and see if any action in the odds because I couldn’t find another horse I liked.
No Computer Picks because of the first time starters.
Race 7
8 – Remake – Draw 4
He’s two wins from 4 starts and won by four lengths last out. The time of the race was a quick 1:08.89. I like his chances here. Raced last in December.
2 – Elite Power – Draw 5
Won the Breeder’s Cup Sprint last out and now has won 5 in a row. If ready, the one to beat. Dettori and Mott team up here.
4 – Gunite – Draw 2
Won at Oaklawn last out big by 7 3/4 lengths at 16-1. His Breeder’s Cup run was at 1 mile, but I think 7 furlongs or less is the best-suited distance race for him.
Poof Computer Picks:
2 – Elite Power
4 – Gunite
8 – Remake
Race 8
6 – Jun Light Bolt – Draw 6
He won his last three races, moving up in class each time, but he isn’t going to win by much. Tough Japanese horse with a record of 9 starts 5 wins, 1 second. This is his distance, and with a well-timed ride by Ryan Moore, he’s going to be the winner.
10 – Taiba – Draw 2
Won by 4 ¼ lengths last out at Santa Anita and it could have been more. There is no Flightline in this race, and Mike Smith will do his best.
3 – Crown Pride – Draw 3
Ran second to my top choice last out and missed by a neck. Like’s to run second and last three races, that’s what he has done. 8 starts 3 wins 3 seconds and this appears to be ready for a good run here.
The Richest Race in the World Computer Picks:
10 – Taiba
2 – Country Grammer
8 – Remorse
