Sha-Tin – Sunday, January 28th – Stewart Cup Day

Sha Tin Horse Racing Picks and Comments  (Free Sha Tin Past Performances)

Some very good racing and a lot of people will be at the track as attendance is expected to top 70,000!

Race 1

3 – Win Win Charity – last race was actually pretty good even though it doesn’t look good in the form, bumped. No trouble. He wins.

1 – Lucky Victor – not much lately, so drop help with a 10lbs bug boy only improves his chances. Win?

9 – Run Run Good – powerful move in the straight last out. Can you do it again?

Race 2

7 – Nice Birdie – missed by one length last time, gets the win here.

12 – The Multiplier – good on the all-weather with 5 starts and 4 in-the-money finishes. Post position hurts chances.

1 – Pramatism – drops and has done ok on the all-weather.

Race 3

6 – Rock Ya Heart – running well last three starts but not getting is done so switch to top jockey to help.

1 – IMA Single Man – won last out and will be tough again.

5 – Power Koepp – just missed last out by a neck, comes at the end.

Race 4

Race 5

1 – Handsome Twelve – just like that all-weather track with 9 starts, 4 wins 1 second. Toss last, he stumbled, and that took him out of the race.

3 – So We Joy – better from way back last out with a slow start. Good record on all-weather and should be able to hit the board here.

12 – Yes We Can – moved up in class and found all kinds of trouble in his races. Maybe this time with a clean rail trip.

Race 6

5 – Juneau Flash – this he gets his first win with Ryan Moore aboard.

4 – Innoconstruction – missed by a nose in the first start, favorite

11 – Ace Talent – caught with the issue last out at 1200m. This time is an in-the-money run.

Race 7

1 – Golden Sixty – moves late and fast and catches the front runner this time.

3 – California Spangle – speed, come and catch me if you can. Lone speed is deadly.

7 – Panfield – some issues in last and appears to be ready to make some noise vs. the top horses.

Race 8

Race 9

1 – Cordyceps Six – been running against the best sprinters in Hong Kong at Group level, now faces 4yo’s only, very tough in here but terrible starting post 14.

3 – Packing Treadmill – good tactical speed, should be the favorite.

5 – Sweet Encounter – good races run at a lower level. Let’s see if this one can make an in-the-money run.

Race 10

3 – Beauty Inspire – first start in Hong Kong, won Group 3 in Ireland.

13 – Jade Prince – toss last, drop in distance and move from Happy Valley will result in very good results.

7 – Stunning Impact – late mover will pick up enough horses to get in the money.
