Race 1- JUMP FREE
I really hope this horse learned a little bit last start, he finally showed some run, but I had to ride him every step of the way, I’m hoping he’s a little more handy tonight. Small field should make for an easy trip and hopefully run down the speed late.
Race 2- CHEEK TO CHEEK
This horse has been very honest both starts I’ve ridden him. Had a couple rough trips so I’d like to break clean and get a stalking position. He’s pretty handy so when it’s time to go I should have plenty of horse to close with.
Race 3- VW TURBO
This horse hasn’t really shown any run so far so I’m really hoping the big drop in class helps her. 1 hole in a big field isn’t ideal for a horse like this but if I can get clean trip, I don’t see why she can’t be competitive in this field.
Race 4- NORA RADD
She seems to drag everyone to the lead so I’m going to break aggressively and try to get an easy lead and settle her down. She looks to stop a little late so I’m going to do my best to save enough horse to hold them off.
Race 7- AIN’T MISBEHAVING
Like before with this horse, I have to get away from the gate very aggressive and get position with him. I’ll have to start riding going into the far turn to try to stay close enough to the leaders to run them down late, it didn’t work out so well the last start because he dropped to far back around the turn. Luckily tonight there is only two horses who could be faster than me early so it should make it easier for me to get the trip I need.
Race 8- GALILEE
Really thought this horse was a winner last time out but he sort of hung on me down the lane. There’s plenty of speed in here so should set me up for a good stalking/mid pack type of trip. He’s got a decent turn of foot so hopefully I can save that for when I need it.
