Race 1- KITTENS SOLUTION
First time riding this horse, but it seems like he makes a nice middle move and then hangs really badly. I’m going to try to stay in range without letting him run too much and sit until the 1/4 pole. Hopefully I can save that big kick he has for when it matters.
Race 2- SIMMARD SHENANIGAN
Another horse I’ve never been on, trainer called me this morning and just told me that I should be forwardly placed but when I get her to running, I have to keep her gathered up because she tends to fall apart if you throw her head away. So that’s my plan!
Race 4- LEAKY CAULDRON
This little mare has shown so much heart, she runs really hard in every race. I should be about mid pack a few lengths off the lead and nearing the quarter pole I’ll start getting to work and she typically gives me a really nice finish the last 1/4 mile. She should be tough in this race.
