Race 1 – I’M YOUR PAPI
I’ve never been on this horse, but he ran really well first time out. He showed decent speed and ran on the whole way so I’m expecting the same tonight and hopefully with having a race under his belt he will be good enough to win tonight
Race 2- IYWAAN
One of the easiest horses to ride, he typically likes a wet track also so I should be able to let him settle just off the speed and when he’s ready to go he makes his move and I just have to keep him interested.
Race 4- COPPERHEAD CREEK
I expect to be in the back early in this race. He likes to settle the first half and then make a nice long run. Hopefully in the small field I can get an easy trip and not get him stopped once he starts running.
Race 6- BEACH BANKER
I’ve never ridden this horse, but she had a nice work the other day. I’m guessing the trainer will want me to be aggressive and close to the pace or in front, so I’ll do my best to do that and be in a good position.
