10 – CHENTI – biggest class dropper in the race, key is the start, if he breaks sharply and competes for the lead early on, strong chance that drop pays off
5 – PLAYERO – really consistent performer going to try grass for the 1st time after the first 5 on AW – two OK turf works class dropper with +7 LP edge

4 – CHARMING CHARLIE – may not look like in the PPs, but could be involved from the start and run quicker fractions last out
5 – SUMMER SHANDEE – winner of two in a row after winning 1 of first 12, 4SP# increases, the trend is your friend until the trend breaks
6 – PIPITO – lone P horse without a lot of EP to chase, sits patiently right behind the leaders and then tries to run by in the stretch

5 – UBIQUITOUS – is hit or miss coming off the break, a couple of really good works say a hit could be in store – won his only 5 1/2f on turf with ease – you’ll know if he is on the lead
3 – BARONE CESCO – Left Arrow horse that upped his 2/4f pace#s in last with TLRSP#
4 – UNIFIED CONQUEST – this is an every other race horse, last was off so this one should be on in the classic 3rd start after a layoff – top LP too
2 – PURE SPEIGHT – tough call over the 6, but this guy is coming back to GP after spending some time in LA – bullet work on Dec 22 says he is glad to be back

5 – SOPHIA’S STORM – flashed some early speed last out and cuts back in distance from 7f to 6f
7 – BULLET ON TAP – going to go with our friend Chantal Sutherland here, TLRPS# getting MCL win in 15th try, but my guess is Chantal had a choice between this and the 1 horse – she’s don’t pull punches
6 – MACHTENHAIRONFIRE – was better ATB in last and should be as good maybe a touch better in round three after a layoff

1 – CHESS’S DREAM – distance 7/2-2-2, TLRSP# but race cycles hint at small regression in 3rd off the bench
6 – MIDNIGHT HURRICANE-, closed at 5 1/2f in last pair – got a feeling he’s going to love the extra distance – upped SP# in all 3 races after debut
5 – K. C. CHIEF – kind of hard to ignore tr Ruben Gracida winning 12/28 when going from a route to a sprint

2 – ROD TWO ROD – ginormous +18 LP edge in a race that could set up perfectly for him without a lot of speed to chase
4 – AZTEC – TLRSP# with better race internals for the second half, regressed only other 3rd up off the break
5 – DOMINICAN ICE – appears to be on the upswing and was considerably better late in his last effort
1 – WALL STREET TRADER – top choice aside, has the highest performance ceiling for this group, will need to be at/near the top of his game as the average race doesn’t get him a top prize

5 – I SAID HEY – good sized drop in class and strong at the distance 9/1-5-1
9 – FLIP MY ID – better ATB in last – was first on AW, limited resume says better in race 2 after a layoff
