Bio: Hello my name is Joe Giuliano. I was born in Augusta, Sicily and moved to East Boston, MA. Where I spent my first 30 years of life. I spent the next 10 years wandering living in Florida, Nevada, and Washington.
I have been back in Massachusetts for the last 10 years where I work daily in the trades, watch and bet on as much horse racing as I can responsibly, and try to enjoy life (eat drink and be merry). All I am missing is a partner in crime, someone to enjoy life and travel with and grow old together!
1.The way I got into horse racing was my dad taking me to Suffolk Downs as a very young boy.
2.My dream job in horse racing would be creating events for racing lovers, contests and such.
3.My favorite horse of all time is definitely Cigar as I got to witness how good he was live in two Masscaps 95-96.
4.My favorite active horse is BAAEED I think that is the greatest turf horse I ever saw.
5.My favorite jockey of all time isn’t on many lists Carl Gambardella (Gamby) I watched him live my whole life and he had thousands of wins.
6.Favorite active jockey is John Velasquez he is still great and reminds me of an old school jockey.
7. Favorite track and why? Suffolk Downs will always be my favorite just because I spent hundreds of days there.

8.If I oversaw horse racing, the first thing I would do would be stiffer penalties to riders who aren’t safe or employ underhanded tactics.
9.My absolute favorite bet is a reverse wheel where I bet all over the favorite, I have hit those big many times.
10.My biggest win bet was when I hit $100 to win on loves only you at breeders cup last year I think
11.One of my best memories as a kid was my dad knew a lot of owners and trainers at Suffolk Downs great memories. I drove a lot of famous people driving limos in the 90s so I’m not a star struck type. We’re all just people!
12. Who in horse racing would you like to meet? From what I have seen watching TVG since about 2009, I feel like George Leonard, III seems pretty cool. Also, I have many contacts on my twitter that I’d like to meet as I visit certain tracks in next few years! Believe it or not Parx and Horseshoe Indy are tops on my current list.
